Captain Henry Lee
Light-Horse Harry Lee
Captain Henry Lee, better known as Light-horse Harry Lee was in command of the 1st Continental Light Dragoons at the time of the Battle of Gloucester.
Lee and the 1st Continental Light Dragoons do not appear to be at Gloucester on November 25th, but they are present on November 27th in support of Colonel Richard Butler's attack on the last of the British troops leaving Gloucester Town.
Lee would go on to become a Major General in the United States Army and the ninth Governor of Virginia.
He was also the father of General Robert E. Lee Confederate General during the Civil War.
